How far in advance should i book or Place my order?

For Online Shop: Your order must be placed a minimum of 3 days in advance

For weddings
Since we only accept a limited number of weddings per weekend, we recommend contacting us 8-12 months in advance, and longer is ideal. We can accommodate weddings less than 8 months away, however dates may be limited.

For birthdays, corporate, and regular orders
We recommend at least 2-3 weeks in advance of your event date and longer is ideal. On rare occasions, we are able to take on last minute orders.

What is required to secure my date?

To confirm your booking, we require a 50% non refundable deposit. The balance for weddings is due the week prior to the wedding date. For all other events, the balance is due the day of pick up or upon delivery.

Want to secure your date without finalizing your order? We allow for a date reservation free of $100.00. Your order must be finalized one month prior to the date. The reservation fee is non-refundable, however it is deducted from the overall cost of your order.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE DUE TO COVID-19?

Changes and cancellations to retail orders are accepted until 7 days prior to scheduled pick up time. No refunds will be provided for any payments made on the order no matter the amount - if canceled at least 7 days in advance we will be happy to transfer any payment made on that order to another order within 1 year*. We will provide no other refunds regardless the circumstances. You will be required to pay the full amount if the order is cancelled with less notice. 

*Due to event restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are allowing for a full value transfer to a date within one year of the original event date.


Can you ACCOMMODATE my allergy?

While we are able to accommodate food preferences such as vegan, keto, and gluten-free diets as well as allergies, we cannot guarantee 100% allergen free products. We do take all reasonable precautions to try to prevent cross-contamination.

For allergy friendly orders, we do a double wash down of equipment and surfaces, line all pans, and use only closed packaged ingredients to minimize risk of allergen contamination.

Absolutely! We love being creative. Send us a quote request with a little guidance on serving quantity, date and theme and we can put together a design to meet your budget.

DO YOU offer DELIVERy AND SETUP?

We not only offer delivery & setup, we highly recommend it for our tiered cakes!

We’ve got you covered for all occasions. Our team will go to site and setup your desserts, whether that be cake, cookies or the full spread. We even offer stand rentals.

For items from the shop, our delivery radius is Ottawa City Centre, valid on orders being shipped in any K1, K2 and K4A as well as downtown Gatineau. All other deliveries will be charged at our regular rate of $15.00 + kms and will be invoiced separately.


What flavour are your cakes?

We offer a great selection of standard flavours, however, we always welcome new ideas and custom requests.


Do you offer Gluten-Free and Vegan Options?

We do! We take pride in people wondering if they truly are GF/Vegan. You can hardly tell the difference. Though we take all reasonable precautions, there is a risk of cross contamination as we have other ingredients in our bakery.


HOW LONG WILL MY COOKIES STAY FRESH FOR?

Your cookies will be fresh for up to 3-4 weeks when individually wrapped.

They can be frozen for up to 1 year.


CAN I FREEZE MY COOKIES? HOW DO I DO THIS?

Yes! You can freeze your cookies:

  • place in a tupperware

  • layer parchment paper between each layer

  • seal container

To defrost:

  • Remove from freezer

  • leave in sealed container until cookies are room temperature (the container will absorb the condensation)

  • Enjoy!
